Undergraduate Fees

Below are details of the various funding options available to undergraduate students. For clarification on any of these items please contact the College Office.

Full-time Student Fee 2017-18

Northern Ireland and European Union Students
The tuition fee for students for 2017/18 is set at £4,030. Prospective students should contact the relevant Education and Library Board in the first instance.

Students from England, Scotland and Wales
Students from other parts of the UK should contact their local education authority. For 2017-18, Union College will charge £9,000 to new Theology undergraduate students who normally live in England, Scotland or Wales (GB students). However, scholarships of up to £2,500 will be granted by Union College to GB students as follows:-

  • For those who achieve their "offer grade", a scholarship of £1,250, leaving a net fee of £7,750
  • For those who achieve ABB at A-level (or equivalent), a scholarship of £1,750 leaving a net fee of £7,250
  • For those who achieve AAB at A-level (or equivalent), a scholarship of £2,500 leaving a net fee of £6,500

Only one of these scholarships will be awarded to any one student. These scholarships will be awarded automatically to qualifying students who register with Union College.


Full-time Self-funding Students

Students who are not eligible for the Government Student Loan Scheme (including students from outside the European Union), and who are self-financing, are offered a concession fee for single honours courses at Union College (2017/18 fee: £3,015).


Part-time Self-funding Student

2017/18 part-time self-funding undergraduate students are charged a fee of £503 per module, plus an annual Queen's University enrolment fee of £289.
