Student Support Services
Union College has excellent student support facilities. To mark the College's 150th Anniversary in 2003, we undertook a £3m refurbishment to create a modern, comfortable learning environment with good community facilities and 21st-century technology. In 2008-09 we are beginning a further £2m building programme, which will include new common room facilities for students, additional seminar-room and office space, and facilities for postgraduate students. There will also be enhanced facilities for the Institute for Christian Training.
The Gamble Library has an extensive collection and is one of the best theological libraries on the island of Ireland. Student computer facilities are excellent and are regularly improved and extended as technology advances. There are good common room and recreational facilities for all students and residents enjoy ensuite facilities (with telephone, TV and internet connections in every room).
In addition to the in-house facilities provided within Union, all Union students taking Queen's courses also have full access to the wide range of University student facilities including: library; computer facilities; catering; Students Union; Physical Education Centre; Student Welfare and Advisory Services.
