A new exhibition is now on in the Gamble Library. The exhibition looks at notable Church of Scotland minister, James Durham who was born 400 years ago this year. His publications went through numerous editions and some have been republished as recently as October of this year.

Several of the rare books from the Gamble Library’s collection make up the exhibition, the earliest of which date back to 1656. The exhibition can be viewed during our normal opening hours: 08:30-16:30, Monday to Friday. Why not call into the Library and discover something new about Durham, including his link with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland?
